What is frankie carbone?

Frankie Carbone was a Italian-American mobster who operated in Brooklyn, New York during the 1970s and 1980s. He was associated with the Lucchese crime family and was known for his involvement in a variety of criminal activities, including loan sharking, extortion, and racketeering.

Carbone was a close associate of mob boss Paul Vario and was involved in the infamous Lufthansa heist at John F. Kennedy International Airport in 1978. This robbery, which was the largest cash robbery in U.S. history at the time, was portrayed in the movie "Goodfellas."

Carbone was eventually arrested and convicted on charges of racketeering, extortion, and conspiracy in 1984. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison but was released on parole in 1994. Carbone was murdered in 2003 in his hometown of Brooklyn, allegedly as a result of a dispute over money with other members of the Lucchese crime family.
